We consider the mean-field limit of an interaction model, in which the agents are described by their position and by a label, accounting for the population they belong to. The positions and labels of the agents evolve according to a nonlocal transport dynamics and a Markov-type jump process. We introduce the functional setting and show existence and uniqueness of solutions. In this framework, we further study a finite-particle control problem and identify its mean-field limit via $\Gamma$-convergence, ensuring convergence of optimal controls.
