Content:

The aim of this lecture is to provide some addendum to the analysis-course by repeating and deepening the concept of the Fourier transform and of Sobolev spaces. As a basis, properties of locally convex topological spaces are briefly discussed. The Fourier transform will analysed on the space of tempered distributions, and important properties of Lp-Sobolev spaces will be discussed. In view of later applications in the theory of partial differential equations, we will study (at least partially) vector-valued function spaces.
