Content:

In this lecture, we will discuss some concept and methods to solve nonlinear partial differential equations. The focus will lie on the analysis of quasilinear and fully nonlinear equations. Among others, we want to discuss viscosity solutions, Hölder continuity of solutions and the general concept of maximal regularity in Hölder and Sobolev spaces.

Prerequisite for this lecture is the knowledge in functional analysis. Recommended is some knowledge on operator semigroups, (linear) partial differential equations and function spaces (Hölder spaces, Sobolev spaces). We will cite and use some results from these areas.

Literature:

A list of references can be found at the end of the lecture notes.

Lecture notes:

There will be lecture notes (in German) which will be updated regularly. You can find it here.
