The International Women in Mathematics Day
International Women in Mathematics Day (May 12th) was designated on the birth date of Iranian mathematician Maryam Mirzakhani (1977-2017) to celebrate female mathematicians around the world and raise the visibility of their research.

13th May: Colloquium & KWIM special talk on the occasion of the International Day of Women in Mathematics by Prof. Dr. Norbert Schappacher (IRMA Strassbourg).
14th May: Opening of the art exhibition "Remember Maryam Mirzakhani" by the Pro-Rector for Diversity and Career Development Prof. Dr. Isabell Otto in the University Library (next to Bib-Café).
